The switch has been flipped.

Just like that - it's Fall. Seems like such a short time ago I rode in 80-degree weather. Actually it was Sept. 28th. Since then, it's rained quite a bit, and the leaves have turned significantly. It's really pretty, especially in the morning when the light is thin and the colors are even brighter. But already I'm missing the long days, even though I am enjoying selecting which combination of sweaters/cords/jacket to wear. So - the shorts get filed away, and replaced by wool, fleece, jeans, capilene, and gore-tex.

I'm going to Alaska for a weekend next month. I'll need those warm clothes!
